I joined the Perception and Action lab in November 2014 as a research experience student. Since that time, I have been working with Samuel Sparks on an ongoing action observation experiment. I am very excited to be presenting data from this experiment at the Undergraduate Research Conference in September this year.
More recently, I have started working on a new experiment involving the spatial-numerical association of response codes (SNARC) effect. This project is a stark contrast to my last project but with (a lot of) help from Hayley Colman, I am getting close to the point of collecting pilot data.
Aside from these projects, I assist Sam by supervising painting sessions with the first year participant pool. I aspire to one day have a session in which no one spills any paint or water. One can dream…
Broadly, my interests are cognitive neuroscience and evolutionary psychology. I hope to pursue a PhD if I survive my honours year next year!
